About this Festival:
Bring on the Sunshine (BOTS) has hosted a family day festival since 2010 which typically sees 3-5000 people attend each year. The schedule on the day includes a full musical stage line up, a market place with diverse and artisan items, and workshops such as drumming, dance and more. Although 2021 will be a bit different we look forward to sharing with you the warmth and vibrancy of African cultures!
The BOTS festival is a platform for entrepreneurs showcasing approx 80% black vendors and 20 % other. We aim to use our platform to support our Black, African and Caribbean community businesses with an unparalleled opportunity to showcase their goods to both the community AND to other festivals and events that occur throughout the summer.
Bring on the Sunshine is a grass roots event that our community feels proud ,it highlights the best and the brightest of who we are as a community and invites everyone of all cultures to come and celebrate.

It is amazing to see people of every nation come an rejoice in an African way. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone can be stimulated by the constant uproar of performances, music, traditional attires, delicious food, activities and vendors galore.
